TORONTO—A reality show that follows the antics of Porno Dan Leal as he trains a new, fresh-out-of-college production assistant at his company, Immoral Productions, is set to debut in Canada next week. The series, The Right Hand, airs Oct. 6 on The Movie Network and Movie Central.

AVN previously reported on Leal’s reality show in April.

The show follows Leal’s exploits as he trains Brandon Macintosh, a recent college graduate from a small town in Canada, seeking an entry-level job in the movie business. Exasperated by a frustrating job search, Macintosh applies online to an Immoral job posting, gets the gig and agrees to be filmed as Leal’s right-hand man.

Camera crews have been following Leal and Macintosh’s daily activities since August at the Exxxtacy Convention in Chicago. Numerous directors and performers are featured in the series including Jim Powers, Craven Moorehead, Ralph Long, Victoria White, Sindee Jennings, Jessie Andrews, Jackie Daniels, Haley Cummings and Amy Brooke.

Produced by EWL Media, the show first airs Oct. 6 at 12:30 on Movie Central, then again on Oct. 8 at 12:15 am on The Movie Network. The Right Hand will air 12 30-minute episodes.

On Wednesday, December 8, I did a ton of paperwork and wrote the marketing materials for “Cock Sucking Challenge 2,” “Riding Solo 2,” and our “Sexy Senoritas 3” releases. On Saturday, December 11, I woke up on the floor of my director, Jay Rock’s house. I came back, cleaned up and went on a long walk so I could get some blood flowing in my beaten up body. While walking I came up with the idea of my new daily show. I have been trying to think of something very creative that we can do every day of the week here at our studio, and I finally thought of it. That night I went to Los Toros with Mallory, and then we went to the movies to watch “The Tourist”. It starred Johnny Deep and Angelina Jolie and was surprisingly good. I came back and went to bed so I could wake up early to watch soccer.

On Sunday, December 12, I woke up early and watched Chelsea tie Spurs 1 to 1. Then I went with my buddy, Billy Banks to Black Angus and watched the Redskins play. The Redskins scored a touchdown with nine seconds left in the game to make it, 17 to 16, then missed a lousy extra point, and lost. The Skins season has truly been a frustrating one. They really have a long, long way to go. I was then joined by Jim Powers and we watched the Dolphins beat the Jets 10 to 6 in perhaps the worst excuse for a football game I have ever seen. The Dolphins had more turnovers, less than 150 yards of offense, and six first downs and still won the game - this truly is winning ugly. After the game I went out and got a new 40-inch monitor for our new daily shows we will be starting, and then wrote the press release about them.

On Monday, December 13, I sent out the press release about our new daily show, “Toyarama.” The show will feature porn starlets doing themselves with an assortment of 101 sex toys. The online viewers will choose which toys they use. I went to watch Manchester United vs. Arsenal at lunch with Billy at Black Angus. Man United won 1 to 0, as Arsenal did not look they like the came to play. I also wrote a press release for my buddy Amy Brooke about the AVN nominations that she has received. On Tuesday, December 14, we shot out first “Toyarama” show with Cee Cee Stone. Cee did a great job as she came super-hard a half-dozen times. This was our first show and like a lot of first shows we had some issues. We are confident that we will work them out and make this show a success. On Monday, November 8, 2010, I did my morning emails and board posts and got the good news that we are going full speed ahead with the ‘very-well-known’ project. The producers, Richard and Lynette, will be coming to Los Angeles next Tuesday and Wednesday and told me to line up girls for interviews. I am very excited that this project is happening as it is really going to help us out.

That night I went out to Los Toros with my best friend from high school, Andy. Andy and I hadn’t seen each other in five years, but it was like never missed a beat. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. It was great catching up with him. We agreed we will never let it go so long without hanging out together again.

On Tuesday, November 9, I talked to Richard from Pure Play about his upcoming visit and the list of girls that will be coming to the studio to do interviews for the ‘very-well-known’ project. I met with our new director who will be coming on board to shoot our “Sexxx in Public” and “Squirtamania” series. We will be writing a big press release sometime later this week about his arrival.

I spoke with the great people from Streamate about some ideas we both have to make our shows even better and about the new shows will be broadcasting starting in December. I also met with Robert and Chris from Big Love Talent and we went over the models they would recommend for both our live shows and our upcoming project. The meeting went very well and we look forward to working with them.

On Wednesday, November 10, I sent out marketing materials and press releases in the morning and then went with Billy Banks to McGee’s to watch Manchester City vs. Manchester United. City played a very defensive game and the match ended up a 0 to 0 draw. This is the first time I can ever remember not being happy with a tie against the Red Devils. That night I shot our “Slumber Party” show with the adorable Gigi Rivera, Cassidy Lynn and Allison Tyler. After the show my sexy little nymphomaniac pal Ivy Winters came into town that night. Our “Fluffers” series always takes me longer than any other series we release as they are six-hour double-disc movies and have so much going on I have to really have to pay attention when I look at the footage. That night I went to dinner with my buddy Robert and his girlfriend Natasha Nice and Ivy at Lamplighter. We had a nice quiet dinner, and I went to bed early.

On Sunday, November 14, I woke up amped and ready to go as the LA Galaxy where taking on Dallas FC in the Western Conference Finals. The Galaxy have been in first place the entire season and soundly defeated Seattle in the first round of the playoffs and were getting to take on a weak Dallas team, or so I thought. Much to my horror, the Galaxy were outplayed the entire game and lost 3 to 0. There is nothing worse than going to a sporting event expecting your team to win, and then they lose. I was pretty upset by their loss; I really expected them to win it all this year.

On Monday, November 15, I finished QC on “Fluffers 6” and did a bunch of paperwork. I also went over my list of models who will be coming in the office the next two days to interview for parts in our “very-well-known-project”. That night I watched my beloved Washington Redskins get destroyed by the Eagles 59 to 28.I have been a Redskins fan my entire life and have never seen them get beat so bad. It could have been worse if Philadelphia had continued to run their offense. It was almost painful to see.

On Tuesday, November 16, the producers of the “very-well-known” project and I had a breakfast meeting at Lamplighter and went over the list of girls we were going to interview. I had directly spoken with the owners of all the major agencies and once I told them the network that is behind the project, all of them wanted their girls to be a part of it. That day we interviewed a total of thirteen girls. It was very exhausting. I am glad that we videotaped all of them. Some of the girls on the first day were fantastic, and others, well; let’s just say there weren’t as great. That night the three of us went to dinner and all of us agreed on which three girls were the best.

On Wednesday, November 17, the producers, one of my directors and I interviewed another fourteen models bringing the total number to a remarkable twenty-seven in two days. In my opinion five girls really stood out and I am sure all of them will be in the “very-well-known” project in one capacity or another. After that show the producers, my silent partner, Ivy Winters and I went to my friend’s restaurant, La Bella. The owners of the restaurant Steve and his son Christian are great guys and agreed to have us film a bunch of our episodes at their location. I am truly looking forward to making this project that we have been working on for so long a ‘reality’!

On Thursday, November 18, we released “Fluffers 6.” This special six-hour double-disc volume features thirteen lovely ladies who show that they are proud to be fluffers. The XBIZ Awards are very different from the AVN Awards as they are lot more laid back and are held out here in Los Angeles. I got caught up on paperwork, blogs and board posts as well. I have had a very productive, yet stressful week. Lining up 27 models to do auditions was no easy task and I really want to thank all the agents who made it possible especially OC Models, Type 9 Models, LA Direct Models, Big Love Talent and Foxxx Modeling.

The End of September and beginning of October

On Saturday, September 25, I woke up at 4 30 to watch Manchester City take on Chelsea. I felt like a kid getting an early Christmas present when City won 1 to 0. I went back to bed and tried to sleep as I was very excited about picking up the queen, a.k.a. Syren Sexton, from the airport. Syren is the UK performer of the year and we really hit it off on her last visit out here so we agreed she would stay with me and see the sights in Los Angeles. I picked up Syren and the first thing she wanted was In-and-Out burger. On Monday, September 27, I went through my emails and made a slight change to our November release schedule. It looks like I may slow down the pace of our releases a tad. We are going to release nine movies this month. This is as many or more as the “big studio” and I will not try and do this many again, at least not until our project is on the air. It was a record-breaking day in downtown Los Angeles, as it reached 113 degrees. Maybe it was the extreme beauty of Syren, coupled being with our buddy Jessie Andrews that made it so damn hot. I took some time to cool off by going to the movies with Syren. We watched the, “Legends of the Guardians” which was this real feel-good movie about owls in 3D. After the movies I came back and did 2257 paperwork for our “Slumber Party 2” movie. I then watched the check disc for our Blow Job Winner 9.

On Tuesday September 28,, I went to see the Los Angeles Kings take on the Anaheim Mighty Ducks with Syren. Before the game, we stopped at my friend Steve’s bar, “La Bella.” We are going to be filming quite a bit of our very-well-known project at his bar, and we are very grateful to him for letting us use his location. The game was amazing as the Kings won 8 to 3. After the game, we went back to La Bella and Syren and I drank a lot, a real lot, with my friend Steve and his son Christian. Thank God for our friend Colin, who drove the two of us home.

On Saturday, October 2, Syren, Colin and I went to USC to watch the USC Trojans take on the Washington Huskies. We met up with my friend Christian from La Bella Cocina. Syren had never been to an American football game before and even though she didn’t get all the rules, she had a good time. We were very well-behaved at the game and didn’t even drink. I think we were still wiped out from our last trip downtown on Tuesday. The game went back and forth as there were eight lead changes. In the end USC choked and Washington won the game on a last-second field goal.

On Sunday, October 3, I went with my buddy Billy to watch the Redskins take on the Eagles. The Redskins played great in the beginning then held on for dear life as they defeated the Eagles 17 to 12. After the game Syren, Jessie, Ralph and I went to the Buenos Aires Grille. Syren had her first empanada of her life. Since she has been in Los Angeles she tried all of my favorite foods, and much to my surprise she has loved them all. That night I went over all the changes to “Snort That Cum Volume 7” and cranked out emails and board posts so I could take off the next day.

On Monday, October 4, Syren and I took the train down to Anaheim to go Disneyland. The last time I was in Disneyland I was five years old and almost got kicked out for racking Goofy. This time I was slightly better-behaved. Syren and I went on a bunch of great rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, Mister Toad’s Wild Ride through Hell, Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters and my favorite, Space Mountain, Ghost Galaxy. On Tuesday, October 5, Richard from Pure Play Media and I went over our December release schedule. We will be releasing six titles in December, as Pure Play Media closes over the Christmas Holidays. I also went over my ideas with him which he liked for some new promo package to help get rid of some of our older inventory. Then one of my designers and I went to Printek and we approved our November box covers. I have to admit this batch of eight is the best looking batch we have made to date. That night, Syren and I went to Los Toros for dinner, which is where we had our first date. After Los Toros we went to McGee’s so Syren could sing karaoke. She has a truly lovely voice, and sounds very much like her namesake when she sings.

On Wednesday, October 6, I said my goodbyes to Syren. I truly had a wonderful time during her stay. She put it best when she said we really are “compatible.” I look forward to her next visit. I am sure that when more people hear about our project that I will have sorts of “friends” who want to be on the show. We also released two movies that day, “Squirtamania 7” and “Blow Job Winner 7.”

On Saturday, September 4, I continued calling people who I feel would be a good fit for the project; even my best friends from Washington DC are going to be involved. That night I went to Denny’s at midnight with Tanner Mayes. This was the first time I have been to a Denny’s in well over ten years, and I have to admit that the food was surprisingly good. On Sunday, September 5, I watched the entire first season of a show that aired on a major network to see if there were any ideas or things that I liked about their show that we should incorporate in our “very-well-known project.” Even though this show is the closest thing out there to our project, it is very different, so I did not find many similarities. I will continue to watch as many other shows as possible until we begin filming our project, as you never know what ideas I can get from watching someone else’s work. A perfect example of this is our Fuck A Fan series. I was not the first person to think of this concept - far from it. However, I modified it and developed it into the current formula.

On Monday, September 6, I celebrated Labor Day by doing lots of labor. My friend Colin Celtic came over and we built new shelves and racks in our warehouse. We also got new fire extinguishers, first aid kits and other stuff for the office. I went through many boxes of our props and was able to make a lot more room at our place by throwing unnecessary things away. I spent over ten hours going through things - once I get started cleaning I don’t stop until I accomplish what I set my mind out to do, although in this case I should have broken it up over a few days.

On Tuesday, September 7, I received a ton of emails, way more than usual, but that is expected the day after a holiday. We got some good news as “Snort That Cum 6” and “Fluffers 3” were picked up for broadcast. I went over the 13 episodes with the executive producer of the very-well-known project and they liked my initial ideas, which made me very happy. I have contacted every single person who I want to be in the show and all of them said yes. Jim and I also started going through his props, clothes and stuff and hanging them up and organizing them on my new shelves.

On Wednesday, September 8, we shot our “Slumber Party” show with two girls who had not worked for us before, Gigi Rivera and Allie Haze, along with our old friend Bailey Brooks. On Tuesday, August 24, I watched the check disc for our Titterific 4 movie. On Saturday, August 29, I wrote a few press releases for our upcoming live shoots while I watched soccer. I have a new favorite team in Bundesliga 1, St. Pauli. Their fans are insane and they even have a skull and crossbones as their corner flags. Like most teams I like, they aren’t that good and lost 1 to 0. On Monday, August 30, I woke up bright and early since on Mondays at the end of the month I get a ton of emails. One of the emails brought me very good news as we got broadcast deals for four of our July releases - “Fuck A Fan 10,” “Titterific 3,” “ASSmazons1,” and “Squirtamania 6.” I then had the not-so-fun task of going over all our monthly numbers. Call me strange as I have always liked doing budgets and projections. Given the circumstances of the adult industry and the economy as a whole, I am pretty damn pleased with what we have accomplished. We release eight titles per month via Pure Play Media, produce weekly live shows, have worldwide broadcast deals, and have subscription-based websites.

On Tuesday, August 31, I met with my silent partner. We went over all the numbers and watched the pilot of the not-so-secret project. I am pretty damn proud that our little company has been able to put together something that other people have been talking about doing for years. Even if it does not get picked up by a network, at least we can say that we gave it our all. We have a meeting with one of the big guys who liked the trailer enough to follow up with a meeting to watch the first episode tomorrow. Wish us luck - let’s hope they like it.

On Tuesday, August 17, I finalized my release schedule for the fourth quarter of 2010. Yes, we are that far ahead with production that I am able to select all the scenes that we will be placing in our movies until the end of the year. We are going to release twenty-six movies in the fourth quarter and launch three more sites. I also went over all the proposed changes to the current blood-borne pathogens law for the meeting of the CAL/OSHA subcommittee, of which I am a member.

On Wednesday, August 18, I took the train to the CAL-OSHA subcommittee meeting about the proposed adult industry set of standards as pertaining to the current blood-borne pathogens law. My only comment at the time being is that CAL-OSHA has been very helpful and that I very optimistic that we will come up with a solution that works for all of us. On Wednesday night we shot our first live show at the studio in almost two months as our new director, Jay Rock, shot Jessie Andrews, Jamey Janes, Vicki Chase, and Jennifer White in a hot, four-girl lesbian show. On Sunday, August 22, I went to see our new director Jay Rock, and got the equipment we are going to need to take our live shows to the next level. We got two new JVC camcorders and a switcher so we can show the live audience three different angles while we shot. I am really excited about broadcasting our first live show with the multi-camera capability this upcoming week. While Jay Rock and I tried out and tested the new camera system, Ralph Long shot Bethany Benz for his “Sexy Senoritas” line. I had a great time at the party as it very low-key and relaxed, as opposed to the insanity that will happen at my birthday bash next month.

On Friday, August 13, I finished going over scenes that I am going to use in our “Fluffers 5” movie. This movie is a truly the most hedonistic of any movie we have every released.
